Welcome to Viper Sport Fishing

 

We have 2 well equipped boats situated on BB beach just outside Kotu Craft Market next to New Dominos Beach Bar and Restaurant.

We are just minutes away from the reefs where the best fishing can be found so you can start reeling them in almost straight away!

Both boats are kept fully insured and are licensed by both the Gambia Maritime Administration and the Gambia Tourist Board meeting all the necessary safety requirements. Life rings, life jackets, first aid kits and fire extinguishers are kept on board for your safety. Please remember to take protection from the sun and take plenty of water.

The Barracuda is licensed for 3 passengers and 2 crew

The Viper is licensed for 4 passengers and 2 crew

Rentals are for the boat not per person.

Our Captains have decades of experience between them in the local waters and have annually endorsed licenses from the GMA, please respect this and stay within their guidelines.

​

You may take food and drinks with you which can be arranged from any of the great local bars and restaurants but please don't overdo the Julbrew!

​

Our crew will help with preparing and baiting your lines if required and give you any assistance needed. As some of the local fish are spiny, toxic or both, and most have razor sharp teeth our crew will take charge once you've brought your catch to the boat.

​

The catch is normally the preserve of the boat and crew however you are welcome to take the pick of your catch. Alternatively our crew will prepare you a BBQ on the beach with camp fire and even a local drumming band. This is a great fun experience and recommended

.
